This website is a brochure for Chamathka Cab Service & Rent A Car. It has no forms, no accounts and no comments, so there is very little for it to collect. This page explains what happens to your information when you get in touch with us, and what we do with it afterwards.
What this website collects
Nothing you type. There is no contact form, no booking form, no newsletter signup and no login anywhere on this site, and comments are closed on every page. The site sets no cookies of its own, and it runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
Like any website, the server that hosts this one keeps standard access logs. Those record the IP address a request came from, the page asked for, the date and time, and the browser user agent string. Our hosting provider keeps them to run and secure the server. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
When you message or call us
Every enquiry button on this site opens either WhatsApp or your phone dialler. Once you reach us that way, we have:
- your phone number
- your name, if you give it to us
- the trip details you choose to tell us, such as your dates, pick-up and drop-off points, destination, vehicle preference and anything else that matters for the journey
We use that information for one purpose: to answer your question, give you a quotation, and arrange the vehicle. We do not sell it or rent it to anyone. Where a booking needs a driver or a partner vehicle, we pass on only the details needed to carry out that trip.
A note about WhatsApp
WhatsApp is the quickest way to reach us, and it is operated by Meta rather than by us. When you message us there, your message travels through WhatsApp and is covered by the WhatsApp privacy policy as well as by this one. If you would rather not use it, please call us on the number below instead.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking details for as long as we need them to arrange your trip and to deal with anything that follows from it, such as a repeat booking or a question about a journey we have already made. WhatsApp conversations stay in the app history until they are deleted.
What we do not do
- We do not build advertising or marketing profiles.
- We do not give your contact details to anyone for their own marketing.
- We do not use cookies to follow you between websites.
- We do not make automated decisions about you.
Your information, your choice
You are welcome to ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. The quickest way is to message or call us:

If you ask us to delete your details, we will do that unless we still need them to finish a booking you have made with us.

If we change how we handle your information, for example by adding a booking form or analytics to this site, we will update this page and change the date below.
